Australia now has over 1,000 bitcoin ATMs in operation. It is the third largest bitcoin ATM network in the world, behind USA and Canada. Australia's bitcoin ATMs make up 2.7% of the global network. However, there have been security issues with bitcoin ATMs, including a recent hack in El Salvador.

Binance burns 1.94 million Binance Coin tokens. $1.17 billion worth of coins were destroyed in the 27th quarterly burn. BNB token's price did not react to the news, losing 0.9% in 24 hours. Despite negative news about Binance's founder, the token's price rose by 13% in the past week.

Nigeria has revoked 924 dormant mining licences. The revoked licences include exploration licences, mining leases, quarry licences, and small-scale mining licences. This is part of the government's efforts to attract new investors and combat licence racketeering.

Hacker exposes source code for El Salvador's government Chivo bitcoin ATMs. Hacked source code includes .exe, .txt, .bat, and .reg files for the software of the ATMs. Earlier this month, a hacker published over 5 million photos and contact information of almost every adult in El Salvador.

Christophe Fouquet approved as new CEO of ASML at annual meeting. Fouquet, a 15-year veteran at ASML, takes over from retiring CEO Peter Wennink. Fouquet previously oversaw ASML's top "EUV" product lines ASML's share price increased more than tenfold under Wennink's leadership.

US prosecutors are seeking a 36-month jail term for Binance founder, Changpeng Zhao, for money laundering violations. Zhao pleaded guilty to the charges and is set to be sentenced on April 30 in Seattle. Binance also admitted to the violations and agreed to a $4.32 billion penalty.
